My projects in sustainable technological innovation and design have allowed me to explore numerous opportunities to apply biodesign and biomimicry across a diverse range of initiatives. These include local biodiversity studies, industry-driven research, biodesign challenges, architectural challenges, and the creation of educational content for designing with biomimicry. Through these projects, I aim to showcase how we can co-create with nature to address complex challenges and design sustainable solutions.
The projects I have undertaken in education and community work have allowed me to connect with real life scenarios and understand how communities’ relationships with nature and technology can empower them to become agents of change. Through these experiences, I have aimed to promote environmental education and the use of creative skills in their learning processes. My goal has been to openly teach diverse audiences about technology, science, nature, engineering and design, to empower them to find strategies and take ownership of their local chellenges. By fostering an appreciation for nature, I aim to inspire the development of local actions focused on improving social and environmental conditions through creativity and science.
