Innovation project that seeks to reimagine how biotechnology could be integrated into consumer electronics to create a more sustainable future.

BIT/ALGATECH: This project analyzed and purposed how algal biotechnology can be applied across various fields of Google's operations and technology development, presenting a business plan to replace the plastic components of Google hardware devices with algae-based bioplastics, integrating algae biotechnologies into electronics and batteries, and even to produce clean energy in the company’s buildings and datacenters, among other applications.
