PROJECT CO-CREATION, SCIENCE COORDINATION, RESEARCH, TEACHING & CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
In partnership with Siemens Stiftung and Ternium, a training and support program was created for teachers from Colombia, Mexico, and Chile to strengthen their leadership in addressing climate change issues through the biomimicry methodology. Public elementary and high school teachers from these countries learned, through experiential and investigative methods, how to study living species and discover design principles that can be applied to innovative proposals for solving socio-environmental challenges specific to each context. This process aimed to foster curiosity and creativity in teachers from various fields, who will inspire their students with respect and wonder for living organisms and their strategies as a source of inspiration for innovative solutions.
